“Christ, the Shepherd of Shepherds”

During Confirmation, I learned about Jesus and his journey, and how it ended with him dying on the cross to save us all from sin. I learned about the Sacraments, and why we do them. Now I can remember all, well most of the names of the books of the Bible. Also I can understand the stories and remember some. I am the shepherd for all the animals on Earth, but Christ is my Shepherd. I am part of Christ’s Church and His family.

Confirmation Verse: John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”



　
　　 “Understand”

I learned a lot from confirmation. All my life, I’ve had several questions for a pastor; confirmation class has given me the reason and time to ask them. Also I’ve never really understood the worship service until now. Now I understand why we do the things we do. I am proud to be in the class of 2010.

Confirmation Verse: John 10:27-28 “My sheep listen to my voice; and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

　　 「羊飼いの羊飼いであるキリスト」

堅信式の準備クラスで、私はイエス様について学んで、又、イエス様が旅をし、その旅が私達皆を罪から救う為に、十字架上で死ぬ事で終わったと学びました。聖礼典について、又、どうして私達がその聖礼典を行うかについて学びました。今は、聖書の本の名前をほとんど覚えます。又、聖書の話しを覚えて理解する事が出来ます。私は地上のすべての動物の羊飼いですが、キリストは私の羊飼いです。私はキリストの教会とキリストの家族の一人です。

堅信式の聖句：ヨハネ14：27　｢わたしは、平和をあなたがたに残し、わたしの平和を与える。わたしはこれを、世が与えるように与えるのではない。心を騒がせるな。おびえるな。｣



　
　　 「理解」

堅信式の準備クラスで沢山の事を習いました。いつか牧師に聞きたいと思った幾つかの質問がありました。このクラスでそれを聞く機会になりました。又、今までは礼拝の意味が分かりませんでしたが、どうしてこのようにするか分かります。２０１０年度のクラスのメンバーになったので誇りを持っています。

堅信式の聖句：ヨハネ10：27-28　｢わたしの羊はわたしの声を聞き分ける。わたしは彼らを知っており、彼らはわたしに従う。わたしは彼らに永遠の命を与える。彼らは決して滅びず、だれも彼らをわたしの手から奪うことはできない。｣
