“I Believe”

Confirmation TestimoniesI believe that Christ rose from the dead and came alive again on Easter and that he was born on Christmas Day. I try my best to be a good Lutheran and went to confirmation to learn more about my religion and to confess my faith. I believe that I am a good Lutheran and believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
Confirmation Verse: John 10:27-28. "My sheep listen to my voice; and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit because they believe in me. They push me to do the right thing and to make good choices. The cross is like a compass, guiding Christians in the direction of God and righteousness. It leads us to believe in Jesus Christ, our Savior and it makes us achieve greatness. I am proud to believe in Jesus and to be a Christian. To be confirmed today is just a step in my faith journey.
Confirmation Verse: Joshua 1:9. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened; do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
キリストはよみがえられて、イースターに復活した事を信じます。又、キリストがクリスマスの日に生まれた事を信じます。良いルーテル信者になるように努力して、私は宗教についてもっと学ぶ為に、又私の信仰を告白するために堅信式準備のクラスに通いました。自分が良いルーテル教会の信者であると思いますし、又イエス・キリストがメシアであると信じます。
堅信式の聖句：ヨハネ10：27-28. ｢わたしの羊はわたしの声を聞き分ける。わたしは彼らを知っており、彼らはわたしに従う。わたしは彼らに永遠の命を与える。彼らは決して滅びず、だれも彼らをわたしの手から奪うことはできない。｣
父、御子、聖霊を信じるのは、彼らは私を信じるからです。正しい事をする為に、又、良い決断をする為に、彼らは私を押して下さいます。十字架はコンパスのようで、キリスト信者を神様の方、又義の方へ導いて下さいます。私達の救い主であるイエス・キリストを信じるように導いて、偉い事が出来るようにさててくださいます。イエス様を信じる事やクリスチャンである事に、誇りを持っています。今日の堅信式は、私の信仰の旅の一歩にすぎません。
堅信式の聖句：ヨシュア1:9. わたしは、強く雄々しくあれと命じたではないか。うろたえてはならない。おののいてはならない。あなたがどこに行ってもあなたの神、主は共にいる。
