Hallelujah! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!
ハレルヤ！キリストは甦りました！本当に、甦られました。ハレルヤ！
When the three women entered the tomb, a young man, an angel, was sitting there with a message from God.
三人の女達がお墓に入る時、一人の若者がそこに座っていました。神様からのメッセージがありました。
6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”
6 若者は言った。「驚くことはない。あなたがたは十字架につけられたナザレのイエスを捜しているが、あの方は復活なさって、ここにはおられない。御覧なさい。お紊めした場所である。7 さあ、行って、弟子達とペトロに告げなさい。『あの方は、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。かねて言われたとおり、そこでお目にかかれる』と。《
Galilee is the name of the area about 80 miles north of Jerusalem. ガリラヤとは、エルサレムより１００㎞ぐらい北の方に有った地方です。There is a big lake there by the same name. そこには、同じ吊前がある大きい湖があります。 The hometown of Jesus, Nazareth was there and it was the home of Peter and the other fishermen, and the three women were probably from there, too.イエス様の故郷のナザレはそこに有りまして、又ペテロと他の漁師も、その三人の女達も、それを自分の「ホーム《と呼んだでしょう。
The angel said that this is where Jesus will meet with the disciples. あそこでイエス様が弟子達に会うと御使いは教えました。He will meet them at their home, where it will be safe for them. 安全な所、彼らのホームで会います。This meeting is recorded in John Chapter 21 when at the Sea of Galilee he told Peter “Feed my sheep.”この出会いはヨハネ２１章に記録されています。その時、ガリラヤの湖でイエス様はペテロに｢私の羊を飼いなさい｣と言われました。
St. Mark wrote this Gospel Book so that we might meet Jesus. 聖マルコはこの福音書を書いたのは、私達もイエス様と会う為です。 We know that Jesus rose from the dead. イエス様が復活したと私達は分かります。We know that the tomb is empty. お墓が空っぽであると分かります。 In our hearts we want to meet our Lord and Savior. 心の中で、私達も私達の主と救い主と会いたいと思います。And so the words of the angel speak to us, too. それで、天使の言葉が私達にも話します。“He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” 『あの方は、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。かねて言われたとおり、そこでお目にかかれる。』So where is our Galilee? 私達のガリラヤはどこでしょうか。Where is our home? 私達のホームはどこにありますか。That is where Jesus will meet us. そこにイエス様は私達と会います。
Jesus meets us in Word and Sacrament. 御言葉と聖礼典に於いてイエス様が私達と会います。He meets us in the love and prayers and witness of his modern-day disciples. 又、現代の弟子達の愛と祈りと証の中に会います。He meets us where we are. 私達がいる所です。The message of the Bible is that God comes to us, not that we go to him. 聖書のメッセージとは、私達が神様の所に行くよりも、神様が私達の所に来られます。And so God came to Abraham, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, the Disciples, to Paul and others. それで神様はアブラハムを始め、モーセ、エリヤ、バプテスマのヨハネ、弟子達、パウロなどの所に来られました。
God has to come to us where we are because we people are always looking for God in all the wrong places. 神様は私達のいる所に来られる事が必要です、何是ならば、私達人間がいつも間違っている所に神様を探すからです。I have no time this morning to list all the places we search which are as empty as the tomb of Jesus. 今朝、その間違っている所をリストアップする時間がありませんが、イエス様のお墓のように空っぽです。Or, because Jesus is not there, those places become tombs that lead to death. 又は、イエス様がそこにいないので、その場所は、死に至るお墓のようになります。That is the hopelessness and gloom and doom when there is no angel to direct us to Jesus. イエス様に導く天使がいないので、希望がない、悲しみと滅びしかありません。
That is why Easter Sunday is so wonderful for us. ですから、復活祭は私達にとって素晴らしいです。 We hear the Good News Message that Jesus comes to us. イエス様が私達に来られると言う良い知らせを聞くからです。We are in this Galilee named Okinawa. 私達がいるガリラヤの吊前とは沖縄です。Here we meet our Lord. ここに私達は私達の主と会います。 And he gives us peace, love, joy, forgiveness, and eternal life.そして、彼は私達に平和と愛と喜びと赦しと永遠の命を下さいます。
Amen. アーメン。
