Recently astronomers released a photo of a “black hole.” 最近、天文学者達はブラックホールの写真を発表しました。 It looks like a big yellow donut with a big black holes in the center. 大きい黄色のドーナッツのようで、中心の穴は大きい黒い穴（ホール）のようです。 It is called a “hole” but it is not empty. 「ホール｣と呼ばれますが、空っぽではありません。 It is filled with the utterly compacted mass of everything that the hole has sucked into it. その中に吸い込まれたものすごく重いかたまりです。 They say that the gravity inside the hole is so great that not even light can escape, and so it is utterly black.ホールの中の重力がものすごく強いので、何も、光さえも出られません。ですから完全に黒いです。
We may not be scientists or astronomers, but we do know about “black holes.” 私達は科学者や天文学者ではなくても、「ブラックホール《を知ります。 There are things that suck up parts of our lives and prevent return. 私達の人生の一部分を吸い込んで、返さないものがあります。 They suck up our joy, our peace, and our love. 私達の喜びや平和や愛を吸い込みます。 They suck up our health and leave us in pain. 私達の健康を吸い込んで、痛みを残します。 They suck up our patience and we fight with others. 忍耐を吸い込んで、私達は他の人と喧嘩します。 They suck up our faith and leave us despondent and without hope. 私達の信仰を吸い込んで、淋しさと失望を残します。 Our life is ripped away and we are dead. 私達の命を捕らえて、私達が死んでいます。Death is the end, like a hopeless black hole.死は終わりで、まるで希望がないブラックホールのようです。
Jesus had died on the cross. イエス様は十字架上で死にました。 The Women witnessed his death and burial. 婦人達はイエス様の死とお墓に収める事の証人でした。 They knew he was dead and they thought there was no escape from that black hole. イエス様が死んだ事を知って、そのブラックホールから出る方法がないと思いました。 This was just common sense. それは常識です。 And so they prepared their spices to anoint the dead body and “went to the tomb. それで、婦人たちは準備しておいた香料を持って墓に行ったのです。 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.” 見ると、石が墓のわきに転がしてあり、中に入っても、主イエスの遺体が見当たらなかったのです。
They were utterly confused until the Angels reminded them of the promise of Jesus. そのため途方に暮れていると、天使達は彼えらにイエス様の約束を思い出させました。
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” 8 Then they remembered his words. 「なぜ、生きておられる方を死者の中に捜すのか。あの方は、ここにはおられない。復活なさったのだ。まだガリラヤにおられたころ、お話しになったことを思い出しなさい。人の子は必ず、罪人の手に渡され、十字架につけられ、三日目に復活することになっている、と言われたではないか。《そこで、婦人たちはイエスの言葉を思い出した。
When the Women reported to the Disciples, the Disciples thought that it was insane nonsense; it was against all common sense because death is death. 婦人達は弟子達に報告しましたが、たわごとのようでした。上常識です。死は死だからです。 Later that evening Jesus appeared to the Disciples and they came to faith.その夕方、イエス様は弟子達の所に表わして、彼らは信じるようになりました。
The black hole of death and sin and despair and unbelief can only be overcome by Jesus who is the “Light of the World.” 罪と死と失望と上信仰のブラックホールに勝つ事が出来るのは、「世の光｣であるイエス様だけです。 Jesus overcame that black hole by entering it by his death on the cross. そのブラックホールに勝つ為に、ご自分の十字架上の死によってイエス様はそのブラックホールに入りました。 By his resurrection he turned that darkness into the bright light of eternal life. 復活によって、その黒闇（ブラックホールであるので、暗闇より黒闇の言葉にしました。） を永遠の命のまぶしいほどの光にしました。It becomes an eternal source of out-pouring love.永遠に湧き出す愛の源になりました。
Please listen to these Bible passages from the Gospel of John. ヨハネの福音書の二つの聖句を聞いてください。
John 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
ヨハネ1:9 その光は、まことの光で、世に来てすべての人を照らすのである。
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
ヨハネ8:12イエスは再び言われた。「わたしは世の光である。わたしに従う者は暗闇の中を歩かず、命の光を持つ。《
There is one black hole that must remain. 一つのブラックホールを残す必要があります。 It is Jesus on the cross that takes upon himself our sin. それは、ご自分の上に私達の罪を取る十字架上のイエス様です。 Our sin is taken away and can never come back. このようにして取られた罪が決して戻る事が出来ません。 That is utter forgiveness. 完全な赦しです。 That is complete salvation and eternal life. 完全な救いと永遠の命です。 It is like a whole new world.新しい世界のようです。
Genesis 1:1-4 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good.
創世記1：1-4初めに、神は天地を創造された。 地は混沌(こんとん)であって、闇(やみ)が深淵(しんえん)の面にあり、神の霊が水の面を動いていた。 神は言われた。「光あれ。《こうして、光があった。 神は光を見て、良しとされた。神は光と闇を分け、 光を昼と呼び、闇を夜と呼ばれた。夕べがあり、朝があった。第一の日である。
Creation overcomes chaos. 創造は混沌に勝ちます。 Resurrection overcomes death. 復活は死に勝ちます。 Forgiveness overcomes sin. 赦しは罪に勝ちます。 In Jesus Christ, faith and love overcome everything.イエス･キリストによって、信仰と愛はすべてに勝ちます。
