Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!
キリストは復活しました！本当に復活しました！ハレルヤ！
The three women got up early on that first Easter morning to go to the tomb of Jesus. その最初のイースターの日、その３人の婦人は朝早く起きまして、イエス様のお墓に行きました。 They went there to complete his funeral. イエス様のお葬式を終えたいと思いました。 They had spices to anoint the body of Jesus. イエス様の体に油を塗るために香料を買って、それを持って行きました。 Jesus had been buried in a tomb cut out of rock, and a large stone had been rolled in front of the entrance. イエス様のお墓が岩を掘って作った墓で、墓の入り口には大きいな石を転(ころ)がしておいたのです。 The stone was too big for the women to move by theirselves so they wondered, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” その３人の婦人達は、自分達の力でその石を動かす事が出来ないので、互いに思いました、「だれが墓の入り口からあの石を転がしてくれるでしょうか」と。 Perhaps a gardener would help them. 園丁か誰かがしてくれるだろうと思ったでしょう。
But when they arrived, the stone had been rolled away. しかし、お墓の所に着きますと、石がもう既にわきへ転がしていたのです。 The body of Jesus was not there. イエス様の体がそこにありませんでした。 First they were puzzled, then alarmed! 不思議と思ったでしょうが、その天使を見た時、恐れました。 But a young man, dressed in a white robe who was probably an angel, proclaimed the Easter Gospel. 白い長い衣を着た若者がお墓の中に座っていました。若者はイースターの福音を言いました。 6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’” 「驚くことはない。あなたがたは十字架につけられたナザレのイエスを捜しているが、あの方は復活なさって、ここにはおられない。御覧なさい。お納めした場所である。16:7 さあ、行って、弟子たちとペトロに告げなさい。『あの方は、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。かねて言われたとおり、そこでお目にかかれる』と。」
The women had wondered, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” 彼女たちは、「だれが墓の入り口からあの石を転がしてくれるでしょうか」と話し合っていました。The tomb has to be open so that the women, and later the disciples, can come and see that Jesus had risen from the dead. お墓の入口を開ける必要がありました。それは、その婦人達や後で弟子達が中を見て、イエス様が本当に復活したのを見る為でした。
There are some people who wanted to close the tomb up quickly again. ある人は、そのお墓の入口を出来るだけ早く閉じたいと思います。 There were the Jewish religious authorities who didn't want the tomb opened. ユダヤ人の宗教の指導者はお墓を開けて欲しくありませんでした。 They are the ones who wanted to kill Jesus in the first place. その人々こそがイエス様を殺したかったからです。And if Jesus had really risen from the grave, then this would prove that he was the Savior, and they would be proven to be wrong. そして、もしイエス様が復活しましたら、イエス様が本当に救い主であるので、彼らが間違っていた事が明らかになります。 Another big group that would like to close up the tomb is the atheist group. もう一つのクループ、お墓を閉じたいグループとは、無神論者達です。 If Jesus has risen from the dead, then this proves that God does exist. もしイエス様が復活しましたら、神様の存在の証拠になるからです。They want to close the tomb and hide the evidence. 誰も事実を見ないように、お墓の入口にその大きい石に置きたいと思いました。 Another group that would like to close up the tomb is the world of unrepentant sinners. もう一つのグループとは、罪を悔い改めたくない罪人です。 If Jesus died and rose, then sin is judged.もしイエス様が死んで甦りましたら、罪が裁かれているからです。
But the tomb cannot be closed. しかし、お墓を閉じる事が出来ません。 Jesus has risen! Hallelujah! イエス様は復活しました。 ハレルヤ！
The stone was rolled away so that the women and disciples could look inside and see that it was empty. 石が既にわきに転がしてあったのは、婦人達や弟子達が中を見て、お墓が空っぽであると見る為でした。The stone did not have to be removed for Jesus to come out. イエス様が墓から出る為に、石を動かす必要がありませんでした。
How could he get out? それでしたら、どのようにイエス様が出られるでしょうか。 If you remember the accounts in the other Gospels of John and Luke (John 20:19, Luke 24:36), Jesus could enter the locked room where the disciples were. ヨハネの福音書やルカの福音書で（ヨハネ20:19、ルカ24:36）、鍵がかけていても、イエス様が弟子達がいる部屋に入る事が出来ました。 His risen body was no longer confined to the limits of physics. イエス様の復活した体は、普通の物質に限られていませんでした。The same power that gave life to the body that had died on the cross, gave resurrection glory to come out of the grave. その同じ力によって、十字架上で死んだ体に命を与えました。復活の栄光を与えられて、お墓から出て来られました。 But the door had to be opened, not for Jesus but for women named Mary. しかし、入口を開けるのは、イエス様の為によりも、マリアと名付けられた女の為でした。 It was necessary for them to look into the grave and see that Jesus was no longer there. 彼女にはイエス様がもうお墓の中にいない事を見る必要がありました。 They had to see the empty tomb. 空っぽのお墓を見る事が必要でした。
The door had to be opened so that we too can see into the tomb. 又、私達も空っぽであると見る為でした。 The witness of the women gives us faith to know that the tomb is empty. 婦人達の証しによって私達も信じます。 In faith, we look into the tomb and see that it is still empty. 信仰をもって、再びお墓の中を見て、まだ空っぽであると見ます。 We do not find the body of Jesus. And that is wonderful! イエス様の体を見つけられないので、良かったです！
We do not find Jesus, but he finds us. 私達はイエス様を見つけませんが、イエス様は私達を見つけます。 The angel told the women that Jesus would meet them again in Galilee. 天使は女の人達に、「あの方は、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。かねて言われたとおり、そこでお目にかかれる」と教えました。 Jesus found two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13ff), 又、エマウへの道でイエス様は二人の弟子を見つけました(ルカ 24:13ff)。 later in the house in Jerusalem, その後、エルサレムの家で、 then in Galilee. その後、ガリラヤで弟子達を見つけました。 He found Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9). ダマスコへの道で聖パウロを見つけました（使徒9章）。 And he has found us in Okinawa. そして沖縄で私達を見つけました。 Jesus comes to us. イエス様は私達のもとに来られます。 He comes in Word and Sacrament. 御言葉や聖礼典によって来られます。 He comes whenever and wherever the Gospel is spoken. 福音が話された時、どこでも、そちらに来られます。
Sometimes our hearts are like the rock tomb. ある時、私達の心はその岩に掘ったお墓のようです。 Unbelief and this world of sin are like a big stone that will trap us. 不信仰やこの世の罪は、大きい石のように、私達が出られないようにします。 To be left in the tomb of unbelief is not to rise with Christ. その不信仰のお墓の中にいる事は、キリストと共に復活しない事です。
The Holy Spirit opens the doors of our hearts so that we see and understand what has happened. 聖霊は私達の心のドアを開けて下さるので、私達はイエス様の事を見て分かります。 We believe that Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sin. 私達の罪を赦す為にイエス様が十字架上で死んで下さった事を信じます。 He died in our place so that we do not have to die for our sin. 私達が自分の罪の為に死ななくても良い為に私達の代わりに死んで下さいました。 Jesus suffered hell for us. イエス様は私達の為に地獄を苦しみました。 Then on the third day, Jesus rose from the dead. そして、三日目に、甦りました。 This shows that his sacrifice was effective. It proves that our sins are forgiven. And it shows that Jesus has power over life and death, and so can give life to us after we die. それがイエス様には、命と死に対して力があると表して、私達も死んだ後に命を得る事が出来る事を表します。 That is the Christian faith, the Christian hope, the Christian life. これはキリスト教会の信仰、キリスト教会の希望、キリスト者の人生です。
The angel greeted the women at the tomb with the Gospel. 天使は婦人達に福音の挨拶を言いました。 The stone is still rolled away. その石が今もわきへ転がしています。 The angel messenger is still there today in the Word of the Gospel. 福音書の御言葉を通して、そのみ使いが今日もいます。 The angel shows us that the tomb is empty. 私達に空っぽの墓に案内します。 He says to us, “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 私達にも言います。「驚くことはない。あなたがたは十字架につけられたナザレのイエスを捜しているが、あの方は復活なさって、ここにはおられない。御覧なさい。お納めした場所である。」
