The Book of Genesis tells how God created the world. 創世記は、どのように神様がこの世をお造りになったかを教えます。 Out of chaos he created a world of order and purpose. こんとんchaosの中から、秩序と目的を作りました。 God created humans, male and female, and he told them, Gen.1:28, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.” 人間を作りました。男と女を作り、彼らに言われました１：２８「産めよ、増えよ、地に満ちて地を従わせよ。」 In other words, God created the family: man, woman, and children. 即ち神様は家族を作りました。男の人、女の人、子供です。 Genesis is the beautiful story of how God created the woman to be a perfect match for the man. 創世記は綺麗な話しで、男の為に、どのように、完全にふさわしい女の人を作ったかを教えます。 Adam woke up from the deep sleep, saw Eve and said, “Wow, awesome, perfect!” そしてアダムは深い眠りから起き、エバを見て、「ワッ！すごい！ぴったし！」と言いました。 And they became the model family, そして、模範の家族になりました。and we are told, Gen.2:24, “24Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.” 創世記２：２４は教えます、「2:24 こういうわけで、男は父母を離れて女と結ばれ、二人は一体となる。2:25 人と妻は二人とも裸であったが、恥ずかしがりはしなかった。」The divine mathematics of marriage says, 1 + 1 = 1. 神様の結婚の数学では、1 + 1 = 1です。The divine mathematics of the family also says, 1 + 1 + kids + pets = 1.　そして、家族の数学は、1 + 1 + 子供 + ペット = 1です。

Then Satan comes and tries to destroy that unity. それからサタンは入って来て、その綺麗な結合（けつごう）を壊(こわ)しました。 Satan tells lies and tempts the man and woman, and all subsequent men and women. ウソを言って、アダムとエバを試み、その後に来るすべての男と女をも試みます。 They blame each other for their sin and weakness. 彼等はお互いに、自分の罪や弱さをほかの人のせいにします。 Cain and Able fight and Cain kills his brother, and siblings have been fighting ever since. カインとアベルが喧嘩してカインは兄弟を殺し、その後に来るすべての兄弟姉妹も喧嘩します。

At the time of Moses, there was the problem of divorce. モーセの時代に、離婚の問題がありました。 Moses did not say divorce was good, but he made provisions for peace and order. モーセは離婚が良いものであると言いませんでしたが、平和を作る為に規定を作りました。 There are laws about divorce, but there are more laws that protect marriage and the family, 離婚についての律法がありますが、結婚と家族を守る律法の数が多いです。especially the 4th and the 6th Commandments, 特に、十戒の第４と第６の戒めです。“Honor your father and your mother” and “You shall not commit adultery.” 「あなたの父と母を敬(うやま)え」と「姦淫(かんいん)してはならない。」

As Jesus said, “Because of your hardness of heart he [Moses] wrote you this commandment [about divorce]. 6 But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ 7 ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, 8 and they shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” イエス様は言われました、「「モーセは、離縁状を書いて離縁することを許しました」と言った。10:5 イエスは言われた。「あなたたちの心が頑固なので、このような掟をモーセは書いたのだ。10:6 しかし、天地創造の初めから、神は人を男と女とにお造りになった。10:7 それゆえ、人は父母を離れてその妻と結ばれ、10:8 二人は一体となる。だから二人はもはや別々ではなく、一体である。10:9 従って、神が結び合わせてくださったものを、人は離してはならない。」」 Jesus wants to protect marriage and the family. イエス様は結婚と家族を守りたいと思いました。 He wants to protect the man and the woman and the children. その男と女と子供を守りたいと思いました。 The next paragraph shows that. その次の言葉はそれを表します。 “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.「「子供たちをわたしのところに来させなさい。妨げてはならない。神の国はこのような者たちのものである。10:15 はっきり言っておく。子供のように神の国を受け入れる人でなければ、決してそこに入ることはできない。」10:16 そして、子供たちを抱き上げ、手を置いて祝福された。」

The perfect unity of the family is under constant attack. 家族の結びつきがいつも攻撃されています。 It seems that it is an attack on God’s plan of creation, it is the attack of unbelief on God himself. 神様の創造の為の御計画に対する攻撃みたいです。神様ご自身を攻撃をする不信仰の攻撃です。 Satan and sin and society and selfishness try to sever the sacredness of the vows of marriage and the happiness of the family. サタンや罪や社会や人の自己中心主義は、結婚の誓約と家族の絆を壊します。 Marriage is mocked by those who live together without being legally married. 結婚が侮辱されています。正式に結婚届を出さないで同棲（どうせい）します。 Marriage is mocked by those who want to legalize gay marriage. 結婚が侮辱されています。同性愛のゲイも結婚をします。 Marriage is mocked by those couples who are married but hate each other or abuse each other or just ignore each other. 結婚が侮辱(ぶじょく)されています。結婚していますが二人が互いに憎み会い、互いに喧嘩したり虐待（ぎゃくたい）したりし、又、ただ、お互いに相手を無視します。 Families struggle because of finances and other hardships. 家族は経済などの問題で苦しみ、頑張(がんば)ります。 And the 4th and 6th Commandments are broken all the time. 第４と第６の戒めいつも敗(やぶ)れています。Satan has brought a foretaste of hell upon the earth.サタンは、この地上に地獄を持って来ました。

Jesus himself, however, tells us how to bring families together. どのように家族の絆を再び合わせるか、イエス様は教えます。 He said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. 言われました「「子供たちをわたしのところに来させなさい。妨げてはならない。神の国はこのような者たちのものである。10:15 はっきり言っておく。子供のように神の国を受け入れる人でなければ、決してそこに入ることはできない。」」It is the perfect trust that little children have in their parents. これは、親の為に小さい子供が持つ完全な信頼です。That is how to build the family. これは家族を作る方法です。

In Baptism, we are made the children of God. 洗礼によって、私達が神様の子供になります。 We receive the family name of the Triune God. 三位一体の神様の家族の名前をもらいます。 We know the love of God. 私達は神様の愛を知っています。 We know how Jesus died to save us, his brothers and sisters. どのようにイエス様が、御自分の兄弟姉妹である私達を救う為に、十字架上で死んで下さったか分かります。 Because we know the love God, we trust God. 神様の愛が分かりますので、私達は神様を信頼します。 This love of God is the foundation for our love. この神様の愛が、私達の愛の土台です。 Because God loves us, we can begin to love our spouses and children and siblings and parents. 神様が私達を愛しますので、私達は自分の連れ合い、子供、兄弟姉妹、親をも愛する事が出来ます。Parents build this love when they bring their children to church for baptism and Sunday school. 親達はこの愛を建てる為に、子供が洗礼を受ける為にや教会学校の為に教会に連れてきます。 Parents have heard the word of Jesus, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” 親はイエス様の言葉を聞きます、「「子供たちをわたしのところに来させなさい。妨げてはならない。神の国はこのような者たちのものである。」 And we all, as children of God, know that we are welcomed in God’s family. そして、私達皆が、神様の子供達として、神様の家に自由に帰る事が出来ると分かります。 This is the blessing for all our homes and will give us a foretaste of Paradise restored in heaven. この祝福は、私達のすべての家庭の為にです。天国のエデンの園のようです。
