On the day before Christ was crucified, He was prayng to God. Then he went off from them about the distance of a stone’s throw and knelt down and prayed.
“Father,” he said, “if you will, take this cup of suffering away from me. Not my will, however,
but your will be done.” (Luk22:41,42) And next morning at about 9 o’clock, He was nailed to the cross as a sinner. God’s will was not to save Him from the suffering of the cross. God cursed him instead of our sin. By doing this God opened the way for every one of us, if we believe in Christ to become God’s children.
It is amazing grace that saved a wretch like me! Yes, everyone ought to know what Jesus did for us. When one recieves this grace, he or she, everyone will be competely changed as a new born being. That is a true God’s child.

I like green leaves in early May,It’s soft, so soft and tender to my eyes. It’s full of new life.
My heart becomes so much comforted, May is the month of the new spirit.
Pentecost soon comes that opens my eyes in the heart, So that I’ll be able to see the holy plan of God.
The above was in the monthly booklet of [The Friend of the Bible] in 1999 May.
I was serving a local church in Tokyo.
